Two Must-Have Cannabis-Infused Margaritas For This Summer

margaritas

Summer is almost here, and it means margarita-time! A balanced, perfect drink for hot summer days and nights, margarita could not be better, right? Nope!

Add cannabis to it and try. It is a next-level drink, we promise. Here go two must-have recipes for alcoholic and non-alcoholic margaritas. Whoop, whoop!

Classic Margarita With A Cannabis Twist

You may want to make or find a tincture with a citrus flavor. It will make the taste even richer and add the quirky twist.

What you need:

  • Two oz tequila
  • One oz fresh lime juice
  • ¾ oz Cointreau
  • 10 mg worth of tincture of your choice
  • Fresh ice
  • Salt and lime to garnish

What you do:

  1. Add liquid ingredients to a shaker. Shake with ice until cold and mixed.
  2. Wet rim of a rocks glass/margarita glass with lime juice. Dip in salt
  3. Strain cocktail into glass over ice.
  4. Garnish with lime.

Mockarita With A Cannabis Twist

You may want to make or find a strain with a flavor of mango. It will make your drink even more vibrant in taste and add some myrcene terpene profile to your mockarita.

What you need:

  • Two slices ripe mango
  • Two oz orange juice
  • One oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz agave nectar
  • Two ice cubes
  • 10 mg worth of tincture of your choice
  • Orange slice and sugar to garnish

What you do:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Purée until smooth.
  2. Wet rim of a cocktail glass with orange juice. Dip rim in sugar.
  3. Pour mockarita in glass and garnish with an orange slice.

NB: Never drive under the influence of cannabis. Suggestions about tincture dosage are loose. The actual potency will depend on strain and method. Start low and go slow. Listen to your body. Enjoy responsibly.
