The Smell of this flower is truly unique. The higher THC in this strain is felt in the brain more. This is a good strain for late afternoon early evening. The duration of effects where fairly intense for the first 25 minutes then tapered off into more of a relaxing body sensation, with stimulated appetite. This strain relieved pain and inflammation quite effectively that's what I would say it's best for smell and pain management makes you feel very cozy and comfortable and slightly lazy.

When opening the jar, the buds were very slender, skinny, lots of stem, yet it was a light green, caked with crystal and had a decent smell. The strain sat at a 60/40 hybrid with 21.4% THC and 0.05% CBD. As such, I typically medicate with low THC, mid to high CBD strains in the day (reduces anxiety without clouding the mind) and indicas at night to help induce a restful sleep. From time to time I will augment with a hybrid to help with mental focus in the afternoon, though it can’t go over 60% sativa or it can make the anxiety worse. Balmoral is a solid 60/40 so it’s right on target!! After busting up a bud in my grinder, I found it gave off a very powerful aroma. Smelt like fresh berries with a bit of orange flavor. When vaping, it was a thick smoke, which hit hard and fast, giving an intense body buzz, leaving the body relaxed and greatly decreasing pain. An, shortly after, depending on the does you take, it could lead to couch lock due to the indica in it. This effect lasts a long time for me; about a few hours. But, it’s uplifting, and tends to really bring focus as well, great for day time smokers!

Great nighttime medicine. Relaxing and pain relieving. Lasts long enough to enter deep sleep. No morning effects - awake clear-headed.

I ordered Tweed's Balmoral (Uk Cheese) about a week ago. I usually look for and order high CBD strains to help with my health issues but I have found some of the high THC strains are great for pain relief in the evenings and definitely for improving sleep. I've tried a few high THC strains and this is the case for me. In doing my research into strains, UK Cheese was identified as being a good one for pain relief and, at higher doses, for sleeping. All I can say is WOW!! I vape my medication using a PAX and it takes very little to feel the effects of this strain. It gave me a combination of a head high like no other strain I've tried so far and a body buzz that reduced my pain to manageable levels. It also made me very sleepy so it certainly has a narcotic effect at a higher dose. Slept like a baby after medicating :0) As usual, the package arrived from Tweed really quickly and was packaged perfectly. When giving it the sniff test, it smells like sour, pungent cheese. The nugs were beautifully cured and trimmed. There were a number of larger ones in my 5 gram order. The picture I posted really doesn't do it justice. The taste can only be described as cheesy with a chemical taste. I find it rough when vaping and it leaves a bad aftertaste. However, it's well worth it for the wonderful medicinal effects of this strain. I think I will definitely be ordering this again and would not hesitate to recommend it. Nice job Tweed!!

This strain is nice and very relaxing. Nice flavour, particularly when vaporized. A slight sense of paranoia kicks in at times but nothing unmanagable. Good for anxiety but found a little trouble sleeping with this one.

Don't get me wrong the effects were very good. I found the taste to be bitter.

Never tried this strain before ordering it here and I was so pleased with this medicine it kept me relaxed for at least 3 hours between dosing again :) preferred it for daytime use and I also mixed it with chem dawg and the effect for night time relief of pain and for relaxation and sleeping was most effective :)...I think a hybrid of these two would make a great strain you could call it cheese dawg lol :)

I've been consuming MJ for year, far before I had my card. While it was recreational, I look back and feel it did help me through some pretty rough spots so, in my opinion, it was still a medicine. So, again, growing up, in this area, we never new what strain we were ingesting, in fact we laughed at people that talked about strains, like they were BSing type thing, to salesy. The only exception being "Lanark County Homegrown" which basically covered anything growing in you backyard. The reason I talking about this is I can related to these various strains by scent. So far I am certain that I've had most of these strains, or a version thereof. The exception being the Bedrocan Jack Herer. Got this UK cheese from Tweed/Bedrocan (Love you guys for merging, wow). The buds are loose and dry. I've smelled stuff like this before, I have a hard time describing it, it's not super strong. The real cool thing about this is when you bust it up it smells like creamy berries on top of a organic cracker with spicy camembert. While busting this up the smells took me back. It's been a while since I've come across such an intoxicating scent. Time to burn I guess, I ran out of 151 so this will have to do. I will say that this wasn't my first dose of the day. I had tried Bedrocan's 1:1 strain about 2 hours earlier. When reviewing I generally like to hit the strain I'm reviewing first. Anyway, rolled up a bout a .25. I found the taste to be closer to the smell, prebusted, which is fine, not outstanding. Smokes well, burns a little fast because it's super dry. The effects where balanced, a little heady, a little body, no paranoia which I'm prone to. I was able to sleep through the night which is uncommon for me, seems to have a real nice medicinal effect. It calmed my tummy.

What is Balmoral?

The THC level is pretty high and reaches 21% on average. The strain produces relaxing yet balanced effects. The high delivers mild uplifting euphoria that fills your head with hazy happiness. The cerebral high is accompanied by physical relaxation and lazy lethargy that slowly build in the body but don’t restrict the freedom of movement. As the high builds, you will feel lazy and sleepy. These effects make Balmoral a perfect match for treating conditions like nausea, insomnia, chronic pain, depression, stress, anxiety. The deep green buds are threaded through with thin orange pistils. Resinous trichomes cover the inner and outer surfaces of the leaves and make the flowers sticky to the touch.
