Ok to start off i prefer my herbs to lean towards the sativa side, too much indica justs puts me to sleep. AK-47 starts off with a nice head buzz and stays there with just a little body effect. Really nice strand for after work and to wind down with. A must try... I give it a solid A

The AK-47 Strain can be a god send floating poignantly between a cerebral uplift and a gentle suppression of aches and worries. However, if the lineage is off balance then you get a mediocre flower at best, confused between the four parents. With the scarcity of Afghan (Indica) strains (non-bastardized), most AK-47 strains you find these days are sativa dominant because most breeders either have week seeds or are impatient in cultivating the flower and do not utilize a combined approach (indoor + outdoor grow methods vary strain to strain). I would suggest hydroponic to begin then gentle outdoor flowering, and if the seeds are legit, AK flowers are so amazing. Good for outdoor work where you need to be mentally alert, helps you push through mundane tasks, a good stress reliever and mild anti depressant. My results of AK47 indoor in soil, 63 days. Organic nutes. Kept the seed alive for over 2 years, some time ago... These tests were after having this alive for 2 years, just kept cloning right before flip. Tested at local city shop, First time; THC: 18.19% CBD: 1.12% CBN: 0.08% Second test; THC: 21.09% CBD: 1.07% CBN: 0.12% And yes it is straight from seed out of a feminized serious seeds vile, date says 2010. Only thing I had was a hard time getting this single seed started, 4 out of 6 seeds I had to use, none would sprout and prolly cuz they are too old. This has died off on me now, hoping one day one of the last 2 seeds will work.

I have always liked AK-47, and found it helped me big time. It was hard to find ordering from medical suppliers, so I ordered 5 seeds of an auto-flower strain of AK-47 and got my permit to grow my own meds. It grows wonderfully, wish I could clone it. Luckily the first two went hermie on me after a lot of LST and HST (it responds well to both, but HST is tricky with auto flowers) so I got a ton of seeds from the first two. I got the other three tested at a local store that tests for medical users since the first two were potent AF despite being full of seeds. 24.53% THC 0.08% CBD 24.05% THC 0.10% CBD 25.58% THC 0.04% CBD Oh yeah, this is a strain worth growing at home as a go-to after work/evening strain. Really helps with my pain, without couchlock, while giving me the engrized and euphoric sativa lift it's known for. I prefer something that gives me the munchies before dinner, and change to this after dinner. I would recommend getting regular feminized seeds, not autoflowers, as this is certainly worth cloning and responds so well to HST that it's worth extra time in veg to grow monstrous plants.

AK-47 is probably my most favourite strain... probably. This is the bud you smoke when you need to convert your friends to stonerism. It gives you an unforgettable high with all the right features, euphoria, giggles, laziness, munchies, and some pain relief too. I urge ALL novice smokers and first-timers to try this strain, it will turn you into a stoner for life. Extremely peaceful high - quite the opposite of its name.

I have 40+ years experience growing and using cannabis, a masters degree in agri/horticulture from MSU and will break each review down as follows from my own personal experience with seeds or clones obtained directly from the original breeders, in this case Serious Seeds: - Use; Sativa effects, happy, euphoric, relaxed, great for depression, anxiety, stress, motivation and daytime use. It is a very nice strain with mostly sativa type effects, happy, euphoric, relaxed yet not to the point of making you unmotivated. If anything, it actually motivates you and it's great for daytime use. This is a perfect strain for depression, anxiety, stress, motivation and creativity. The buds are nice and dense and have a very nice fruity smell and taste with a very smooth smoke. Grow; Indoors: She can be finished in 7-8 weeks. - Outdoors: It's an excellent and a great choice if you live in a cooler area where plants need to finish earlier and you still want something with strong sativa effects. At 42*N latitude she started flowering the last week of July and was ready around the third week of September, contrary to Leafly's estimate. - Very easy to grow both indoors and out. Plants have a distinct sativa leaf that is very narrow and grow in the typical pine tree look. The best thing about this strain is it's sativa dominance in effect and look, yet it has the Afghan gene that will make her finish very fast for a sativa, with very little stretching once flowering is induced. Has a high leaf to bud ratio in volume but not by weight as there are a lot of leaves to trim but most are very small and narrow. Strain seemed very stable with little variation between phenotypes. Very similar to my AK-48 review except AK-47 will finish even sooner but is a little less aromatic.
